An Idea: "Long Drop"


I had an idea for a mobile game. It was pretty macabre, and involved measuring lengths of rope to appropriate lengths for breaking the necks of convicted individuals of varying shapes and sizes, but it'd been stylized in a way that's not totally offensive. Read on for details!





Objective:

To hang as many convicts as possible within the allotted period of time by measuring lengths of rope to fit the respective stature of those convicted. Correctly measured rope will break the necks of convicts, adding time to the clock. If rope length is too long, decapitation will be the result and no time will be added to the clock. If rope length is too short, strangulation will be the result and more time will pass before the next set of convicts make their way up to the gallows.

Convicts populate the gallows in sets of 3 at a time. The player must execute a set of convicts before the next set approaches. The process repeats until there’s no time left on the clock.

Also, there’ll be a small mob of onlookers near the bottom of the screen that react to the manner in which convicts are hanged.
